I started taking photographs in my early twenties. I am a self taught photographer with a passion for fine focus along with contrast and detail.
I balanced my day job with personal creative work. I enjoy the the monochrome space along with vivid color and detail.
Throughout my life I always strive to work hard and I found the harder you work the luckier you get. I take that same approach in my photography and find that it yields the same results.
In order to take a great photograph you need excellent subject matter. For me, that subject matter is the American West and all its splender. From the high plains to the vast mountain ranges running through it the American West is my canvas. Everything about it, the people, the wildlife and the landscape offer everything I need.
